| Anime Radio is the crazy,
sometimes sober team of Roger O'Connor, John Wilson,
Takeo Minami. These three have worked together in their pursuit
of Greater Japanese Animation since 1986.
During the last decade they have developed a kind of "synergy"
that gives them a unique insight into Anime. They started Anime Radio as one of Roger's
innumerable side projects. This project grew into a fun, more or less drunken weekly excuse
to watch some anime and spout off about it. Somewhere in the second season Kevin Garten came into the picture. A relative newcomer to the genre (only started watching anime in 1990), he added another viewpoint to the group. On May 11th, 2000 Roger was on the way to record the show when he was killed in an automobile accident. Roger's memory lives on through this show. Also occasionally showing up are Bob, Token and Larry to add a little variety and a lot of off mic comments. |
